We fully remodeled this Victorian farmhouse, built in 1900, in the village of Cherry Valley this past year, restoring it to its original glory and adding many upgrades.
After gutting the interior down to the studs, we reframed it, installed a custom kitchen with butcher block island countertop and tiled hood, built custom bathrooms and a sauna, and equipped the tower with an elevator to meet the client’s accessibility needs.
We repurposed original pocket doors as barn doors and refurbed all the interior wood trim.
Outside, we built a new porch with a beadboard ceiling, matching the balustrade profiles from the original, and also added a ramp to it. We refurbished and replaced the siding, including fishscale shingles on the tower.
