This iconic Cooperstown home is one room deep, upstairs and down, with a staircase in the center and a kitchen off the back. We know from architectural evidence in the attic that it is at least the second addition in this location. On this renovation, we changed some closets and bathrooms in the home that had been added over the years, to improve the flow of the layout. We added two new bathrooms, to allow each of the three bedrooms to have its own bathroom.
Redpoint restored original hardware, mantels, and woodwork wherever possible. Note the original brick in the four fireplaces and textures in the wood surfaces. We completely remodeled the kitchen, including a large area for dining that takes advantage of the beautiful light. We added two patios outside and replaced the porches.
