DESIGN
Starting a home project with a design phase is the ideal model for creating the space you envision inside and out. Our designers work with you to bring your ideas to life in residential or commercial spaces and they excel at interior remodels, exterior updates, historic restoration, additions, general revisions, and full new construction builds from the ground up. The design phase works through the structural aspects of executing architectural details, as well as creating plans and figuring out the siting to include landscaping and outdoor environments.

BUILD
Building is at the heart of Redpoint, so when we begin your project—whether it's design, construction, painting, electrical, plumbing, masonry, or millwork—we will always be mindful of the overall integrity and character of your building. Our services include new construction, historic restoration, additions, and renovations but we will also provide handyman services and general maintenance. Redpoint builders are knowledgeable, skilled, and courteous—we leave all job sites orderly and safe. For the finer details like windows and doors, custom kitchens, furniture, and restoration projects we have a full, year-round millwork and cabinet shop.
PAINT
Redpoint's painting crews work at the highest level of detail and care required for the job. Whether it's a single room or painting an entire home inside and out, we are the best choice. Our painters have extensive experience with faux finishes, epoxy restoration, color consultation, and other specialty techniques. Our carpenters work closely with the painting crew to replace old siding and damaged trim. Once we complete the prep stage, we apply several coats of paint, including multiple trim colors as desired. A thorough paint job is well worth the investment: it will last for years and will protect your house much longer than a quick powerwash and spray.
As required by New York State, Redpoint is certified in lead abatement procedures. Further, we have a fully equipped year round shop in which to restore doors, shutters, windows, furniture and more. Restored windows with custom-made storm windows both preserve the original architecture of your home, and outperform replacement windows in R-value (the higher the R-value, the greater the insulating power), environmental impact, longevity, and price.

WINDOW RESTORATION
In many cases, restoring old windows is more cost effective, attractive, and durable than installing replacement windows. Redpoint has a fully equipped window restoration shop where we can repair or rebuild sashes, replace glass, remove paint, repair muntins, stabilize rot, do epoxy repairs, prime and paint. Restored windows, even with replaced sashes, are indistinguishable from the originals and maintain the integrity of your home’s aesthetic. With custom storm windows, they also have the best possible R-value, rivaling replacement windows in all ways.
MILLWORK
The finished look and feel of a building’s interior and exterior are dependent on thoughtful, well-crafted millwork. Redpoint has a full cabinet shop where we replicate millwork for restoration or fabricate elements for new construction.
